SILVER SPRINGS - Gary C. Schoen, 47, of Silver Springs, was arrested Monday night on charges including a third-offense driving under the influence after Marion County Sheriff's Deputy Gary Miller pulled him over on East State Road 40.

Schoen, who failed a field sobriety test, asked Miller to give him a break because he was on probation, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

In the 1998 Ford pickup, Miller found five and a half pills – four blue and one white pill – in an unmarked yellow prescription bottle. Schoen reportedly told Miller the pills were Xanax.

He was charged with DUI, possession of Xanax without a prescription and violation of probation for false imprisonment, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Recently, Miller was recognized and given an award by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for making 100 DUI arrests this year.

Miller got the same award last year when he made 108 DUI arrests.

    RE: Link

Obviously this guy don't read the paper. Otherwise he would have known better than to ask Miller to give him a break. He met the wrong cop at the wrong time. Mr. DUI Dilly.
